Activities & Music
Our simple approach to planning activities starts by finding out what you like to do and then develop a schedule around that. As a result, there’s always something happening; skittles, card games, craft, group exercise, Smovey Health classes. as well as reading daily newspapers. A variety of local musicians visit Maypark House each week, playing familiar tunes from years gone by. Our musicians also help celebrate our events and special days, the annual garden party is always a favourite, on very special occasions some of the staff even give us a song!
We are devoted to aiding your recovery and motivating you to return home as quickly as possible. Our in-house physiotherapist, nurses, visiting occupational therapist and team of health professionals will help to get you back on your feet – and our chef-led restaurant meals will support you with a nutritional, well-balanced diet.
